June Living History Crew Drill

June 1 @ 8:00 am - 3:00 pm

Come see history come to life with our WWII reenactors during their June drill. Interact with historical WWII reenactors aboard the USS ALABAMA and USS DRUM. These historical reenactors, dressed in WWII period Navy uniforms, demonstrate what life aboard ship was like during wartime. They share stories from our original crewmen, conduct weapons briefings, and demonstrate drills while aboard ship.

PLANES WILL NOT FLY FOR “CALL TO BATTLE STATIONS” DUE TO WEATHER

The Deep South Amateur Radio Club will be broadcasting from Radio Central aboard the USS ALABAMA during the drill and welcome visitors to stop by to listen. For all ham radio operators, the call letters are K4DSR and K5LDA broadcasting between 20 and 40.

The drill is open to the public and included with general admission tickets.
