USS ALABAMA Living History Crew Drill

Saturday, December 2 is going to be a very special day as our Living History Crew comes aboard the USS ALABAMA.  At 9:00 a.m. we will have the Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening of the newly restored Post Office.  Everyone will be able to write notes to our overseas military personal for holiday gift packages through Operation Gratitude.  Notes can be written in the Wardroom and mailed in the Post Office.  At Noon we will unveil the winning artwork for our 2017 Christmas card and present the student artist who created this year’s cover.  At 1:00 p.m. vintage airplanes will attack the ship in a call to battle stations.  Be on deck for this exciting event.  Bring a donation to the William F. Greene Veterans Home and receive discount admission.  No can goods please.
