We have a special relationship with nature at Battleship Memorial Park. Come take a walk through the quieter areas of our grounds and encounter pond slider turtles slipping into the water. Ospreys raise their young in specially-erected nests high above the ground. Our nature boardwalk and gazebo were built in partnership with the National Estuary Program.
There are quiet places to sit and watch Canadian geese goslings scurry behind their parents as they feed. We are proud to be Stop #29 on the Alabama Coastal Birding Trail. Carve out some time for contemplation and enjoyment as you visit the park.
